Birth Support

When Gloria was pregnant with her first son, she came across the "doula" world for the first time. She attended an antenatal course led by doulas that changed her perspective (for the better) completely and helped her to better cope during labour.

She realised how much a doula can help during labour and birth when she gave birth to her son and listening to the stories of other new mothers.

Having worked in the pre and post natal world for years, a lot of her clients told her how much they would have loved to have her next to them during labour too.

So, while on maternity leave, she felt ready on a professional and a personal level and she decided to start looking around to find the course that would suit her to become a birth keeper.

She attended the introductory workshop with Doula UK in december 2018 when her son was 5 months old and she then joined the Red Tent Doula Preparation Course (accredited by Doula UK) in August 2019, just the day after she turned 30.

She is now a qualified doula, supporting women no matter what their choices are: from the most unmedicated homebirth to an elective c-section and everything in between, she will be by your side, supporting you and any other birth partner you would like to have with you. She is also an Antenatal Educator.

Get in touch to book a free meeting: she will be happy to meet you over a cuppa giving you all the informations you need to decide if a doula is the support you would love to have and if she is the right one for you!
