Gloria Fuson has always been fascinated about body movement, with a special interest in the connection between mind and body. She began artistic gymnastics training at the age of 3 and a few years later she moved into dance (ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary) . After receiving her diploma as a Dance Teacher at I.D.A. D.P.S. in 2009, she started her career whilst also continuing her studies abroad especially in the vibrant and inspiring NYC and around Europe, being based in Italy where she is from.

She came across Pilates when she was a dance student and whilst building her dance career up she started her pilates teacher training: she started covering classes in 2011 and when she got her diploma with F.I.F. in 2012, Pilates became her full time job together with dance.

Ever since then she never stopped studying, taking part to specialisation courses and workshops in dance (f.e. at Accademia Teatro all Scala di Milano), in Pilates (f.e. True Pilates in NY) and in body conditioning and fitness.

Since 2014 she has been invited to be a guest teacher at several schools and academies in Europe (Northern Ballet in Leeds and Ballet West to name just a few), at many public events such as Move It in London every year since 2015 and at the main Capezio store in Covent Garden.

In 2014 she also got her qualification as a Pre and Post Natal Specialist with the Carolyne's Anthony Centre for Women's Fitness, passing her final exams in Manchester, UK. With Carolyne Anthony she also got the "Pelvic Floor Health and Dysfunctions" certification.

Since she was spending more and more time guest teaching in UK, and after a year spent working and studying in the wonderful Edinburgh, she decided to move to London in 2016. After a decade in London, where she built her family too, she has now moved to Florence, Italy, for love (of her husband!).

She is also a certified Doula, Antenatal Educator and Women's Health Specialist (and advocate). You will find more about this checking the "Women's Wellness" and "The Soul Body Doula" menu.

Having worked with children for over a decade (as a dance teacher who has always put the educational part of teaching dance first, before technique and results) and as a mother herself, she is extremely passionate about children's development and the art of parenting.

Gloria is also hugely into nutrition (she has attended courses with NNEdPro since 2020) and about living a clean, sustainable life.
